I am replying to your advertisement of this date offering a position as copy editor on a sports cars publication.

As my resume demonstrates, I have my B.S. in journalism and have been working as a copy writer and assistant copy editor on magazines for the past six years.

Your ad specified an interest in and knowledge of sports cars. I did not feel it appropriate to mention it in my resume, but I am the owner one of the surviving Type 57 Bugattis in this country, and have rebuild and maintain the cars myself. The car is registered with the Buggati Club of America, to which I also belong. As you can see, I have established credentials as a sports car enthusiast.
